A mastermind group is an opportunity to learn as a group and to benefit from the unique skill sets and perspectives that each person brings to the mastermind. Giving and receiving feedback from more than one person is a valuable experience. Beyond that, an opportunity to meet other like-minded people, with the possibility of forming lasting relationships can happen from any great mastermind.
It’s my job to bring people together and so I am announcing the…
Leading Your Practice
Mastermind
Why a mastermind?
- You desire connection instead of isolation
- You want support and accountability
- You have a dream and want to see it realized
- You need tangible advice
- You value feedback and constructive criticism
- You want people to know you and your vision
- You have a goal, a vision, or a dream
Who is a good fit for this mastermind?
This mastermind is for group practice owners, who are established with employees or contractors, and are looking to scale, redesign, create new service lines, open new locations, change compensation models, bring on leadership, or make any sort of change to your group practice where you can benefit from a mastermind group.
What are we going to cover?
Each mastermind will last 75-90 minutes and will start with a brief check-in, a discussion about a topic, and then a hot seat where we do a deep dive on one member’s needs.
Additionally, we will have a book club. We will agree to read 2 business or leadership books over the 6 month mastermind. The books will be determined in the first meeting, so we can avoid choosing something everyone has already read.
The needs of the group depend on the members of the Mastermind, and so I will remain flexible in the topics. Here are some of the topics we could cover, depending on the group’s needs:
- Let’s do a real business plan vision it 5 years out. Invite other people to share theirs as inspiration and for each of us to get real feedback.
- Learn more about Change Management and how to do it effectively
- Social Network Analysis: who are the influencers in your group?
- Using Parts Work to help leaders understand how to stay integrated and authentic
- DISC leadership profile discussion
- Recruiting, Interviewing, Hiring, Onboarding
- Expansion, Scaling, Multiple Locations
- Love it, Hate it, Neutral about it What should I delegate?
- Marketing, Networking, Advertising
- Hiring, Firing, and Performance Issues
- Leadership styles
- Imposter Syndrome, Shiny Object Syndrome, and every other business-owner syndrome
- Balance, Boundaries, and Lifestyles

Voxer: The hidden gem
Voxer is an app that allows us to stay connected in between groups. We can send voice messages, text messages, screenshots, and photos. Voice messages are so much faster than typing something out. Here’s how it works…you leave the group a voice message and anyone on the chat group can respond leaving you a voice message response. You can also send a Voxer to individual members of the group. I use this with my coaching clients and it is a great way to answer a quick question so you do not stall, and for all of us to stay connected.
